Wildlife photography is time. Time to find quiet. Time to find peace. The time to find a moment, perhaps witnessed by no other on a quiet morning. A quiet communion with something untamed, a sudden flash of life in the heart of a wild place. In the stillness of that moment, the creature— unburdened and unfettered—becomes your muse and your canvas. A flash of blue from a kingfisher flying low over a river is like a breath between the beats of time. It is in these fleeting fragments, I search for something.
